Jack Voltaic is the Army Cyber Institute’s dedicated research project on critical infrastructure and public/private partnerships. Jack Voltaic leverages public-private partnerships to help protect critical infrastructure, bringing together representatives from the local, state and federal government, military and private industry to explore how to synchronize capabilities and assets in a cyberattack response. Our first iteration was a partnership between New York City, CITI, and the Army Cyber Institute and was held in NYC in August 2016. The second iteration was a partnership with AECOM, the Army Cyber Institute and the city of Houston and was held in Houston, TX in July 2018. We are preparing a third iteration in January and February 2020 as a part of DEFENDER 2020.
